I love it when there is a chill in the air, and I can start wearing boots. But which ones should I choose?
Here are a couple of my favorite “go-to” boots and what I love about them.
Do you have a favorite pair (or brand)? Please go to my contact page and let me know – and I will add your post.

These are my favorite boots, because they are so comfortable making them great for walking just about anywhere. Notice the extra detail via the lace up back and tile bands around the front. (It’s those little details that make these stand out.) I saw them in the window of Buckle and knew I had to have them. They are from Corral – Indie Spirit and I like to wear them with a pair of Dr. Scholl’s inserts (I have high arches – so making sure I wear the right shoes for whatever I am going to do is a must.) They have a distressed or oiled finish, which puts them somewhere between black and brown – making it easy to wear with almost anything (except for actual black pants).

Great boots deserve a great sweater and jeans pairing. This sweater is a Lisa Todd – a great discovery from a couple of seasons ago. Lisa Todd sweaters are kind of kitchy with fun details. The jeans are Lucky.
This is one of my favorite Saturday ‘Go-To’ looks.

Lunch Date ❤️
These boots, by Nine West are seriously high, but are a great color that compliments several of my monochromatic looks (I’ll do a series on monochromatic looks at a later date.) What I love about these (besides the color) is how long they make my legs feel.

Take a Closer Look at the Boots
Here you can see the some attention to detail via some strap and buckles across the top and outside of the foot.
I got these Banana Republic boots using reward points – I quickly fell in love!

Freebird makes GREAT BOOTS! You have to commit to breaking them in, but once you do – they will become a a fast favorite.
