Upcycled Denim. Some of my most fun looks are built around an embellished pair of jeans or skirt. Building your look around an upcycled or embellished piece of denim can take a single look and make it uniquely yours.

I found these jeans at a vintage store and the shirt a year later. What’s really cool is one of the patches in the jeans is an almost perfect match to the pattern of the shirt.

If you haven’t picked up on it yet, wine, or burgundy, is one of my favorite colors – so when I found these jeans (Pilcro) with the wine color pattern down the side, it was love at first sight.

Another vintage and extremely cool find. I have had this skirt for more than ten years. It’s so different, it can only be called cool.
